Concerning the Control Over Natural Resources at the Root of War article:
Hard cold facts are needed to support the contention that oil is Bush’s principal motivation for war now against Iraq. None of the claimed facts even touch upon this claim except for the alleged Straw comment about Blair’s pincipal motivation, but I had not heard of this comment and no source or quote was given.

If Greens want to end the push for control of oil supplies they would advocate a national severance and import tax on all forms of fossil energy including nuclear with the proceeds used to replace national wage and income tax. Also spent on development aid to 3rd world countries.

We have all the oil we need. A war with Iraq wont get us any more. But it will give that oil to the the people it belongs to which are the people of Iraq.

The publisher replies:
That's an interesting idea. If it's a fair idea, then it should be applied everywhere. Does it apply to the people of the United States also, or are the people of Iraq somehow more deserving of their oil than the people of the USA are of ours?

This article SAID what the whole world BELIEVES is the TRUTH behind the war rhetorics. There might be more, such as the WATER problem of Israël, Sharon’s own little Holocaust, etc. etc.
