What with all the talk about what "might" happen in the case of a terrorist-induced epidemic, people seem to be losing sight of the fact that such an eventuality is extremely unlikely. In spite of what happened on 9/11/01 (when some 3,000 people were killed by a well-organized terrorist network) terrorism in general poses no substantial threat whatsoever to the USA or to the Industrialized West.
