Wednesday, August 3"CHAMPIONS OF TAX REFORM"

5:30-8:00 pm Reception and Welcoming by City Officials Location: hotel.
Thursday, August 4Friday, August 5
8:00 am-9:00 pm Registration.
8:00 am-9:00 pm Open Mike.
9:00-12 noon "Champions of Tax Reform" round table moderated by Josh Vincent, where he puts questions to participants to include: Jim Tayoun, Ed Schwartz, Brett Mandel, Diane Lucidi, Bruce Edwards, Kathy Harris, Jonathan Saidel.
12:00-1:15 pm Lunch plus a speaker, Diane Lucidi, executive vice president, Philadelphia Association of Realtors.
1:30 pm – 3:00 pm "Land Value Capture, Congestion Charges and Rational Transportation Strategy" presentation by Dave Wetzel, London Transport Funding Initiative.
3:15-4:00 pm "Land Value Taxation: A Powerful Tool for Economic Growth Matched by Sound Social Policy." Presentations by four Georgist speakers on topical issues. Josh Vincent, Ted Gwartney, Ed Dodson and Bill Batt.
4:00-4:15 Break.
4:15-5:00 Afternoon Sessions repeat.
5:00-7:30 Free Time, Dinner on your own A list of dining options will be provided to conference attendees in advance; group reservations may be made for some restaurants based on level of interest.
7:30-10:00 "The Suppressed History of Monopoly" presentation by Richard Biddle, director of the Philadelphia Henry George School and Birthplace Museum.

10:15-12 noon CGO Town Meeting
12:00-1:15 pm Lunch plus a speaker, Richard Biddle of the Henry George School of Philadelphia.
1:15-4:15 Organizational meetings.
1:30-2:45 The Economics of Peace featuring Alanna Hartzok; and Henry George and Cosmopolitan Law featuring Frank Peddle.
2:45-3:00 Break.
3:00-4:15 Toastmaster-Style Speeches hosted by Don Hurford. Contact the conference administrators if you would like to make a 5-7 minute speech and receive valuable feedback. (continues Saturday, 10:30 am)
4:15-7:30 Dinner and free time on your own
7:30-10:00 Georgist Jeopardy presented by Ed Dodson.
Sunday, August 7
9:00-10:15 am Concurrent Sessions "Future Think: Ending Real Life Monopoly" with Cay Hehner and a group of Georgist speakers sharing their visions for the future and how to get there. Paul Metz, Dan Sullivan, Alanna Hartzok, Frank Peddle.
10:15-10:30 Break.
10:30-12:00 noon Breakout Sessions on a variety of topics.
12:00-1:15 pm Lunch -- with Dave Wetzel speaking on "Prospects for Land Value Tax in the United Kingdom."

Meals covered by the full registration include all coffee & snack breaks, the Wednesday evening reception; Thursday, Friday & Saturday lunches, the Saturday evening banquet. and the Sunday morning brunch. Day registration covers meals and breaks for that day.Restaurants of all types are within very easy walking distance.
Exhibit Tables are $50 per 6’ table and $35 per half-table, and will be made available as space permits on a first-come first-serve basis. Literature can be pre-inserted into conference packets for $25.
Hotel Rates: $99 per room for up to four people if booked by July 1. You must identify yourself as a conference attendee when you book the room to get this rate. Also, our “free” use of hotel space depends on attendees renting a quota of sleeping rooms.

If you want help finding someone to share a room, please contact the conference administrators (listed below) as soon as possible.
Hotel Parking is $20 per day. Area lots charge as little as $12 per day, but do not have in-and-out privileges. Free on-street parking is a few blocks away, but finding a space can be challenging, especially in the evening. Some areas have two-hour limits for non-residents.From the Airport The Lady Liberty Shuttle will take you to the hotel for $8 per person. Call them from the Ground Transportation Courtesy Phones near baggage pick-up. Taxis charge a flat rate of $20 per trip.
