Australian Tax Reformers Offer $25,000 Prize
The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review and other news media in Australia recently announced the following:
$25,000 Tax Reform Challenge
To foster real debate on tax reform, the Land Values Research Group is
offering a prize of $25,000 for the best rebuttal of a resource rental
proposal made to the 1996 Tax Summit. Entries, to be judged by panel
chaired by Emeritus Professor Russell Matthews, must be received by 31
March 1998. For information, competition rules and copies of the 1996
proposal to be refuted, contact:
