Palaver from Persimmon Crossing
with Warren Faulk
What If ...
What if we listened to the children who write to The Progress Report? They have a way of reading about a topic and just blurting out the obvious.
What if a high ranking government or military official became a whistle blower about Iraq and MidEast policy in general?
What if North Korea, reluctantly backed by China, throws in with Iraq?
What if other members of the United Nations presented us with a resolution that we not attack Iraq without UN approval?
What if we treated the much anticipated 27 January Inspection Report, as a report, rather than a license. Just dealt with the discrepancies found and continued to inspect. Who really cares if we have to keep it up for years? How long is long enough? As long as it takes. As long as we can do that rather than fight. Until 51% of us polled, get bored and move on with our lives.
What if we spent the anticipated $200 billion on alternative energy production and promotion here at home rather than in destroying Iraq?
What if our foreign policy makers put hope for the best out front? Put the war option in last place, rather than a close second?
What if the Shock and Awe (Remember Search and Destroy?) doesn't work? What if it does?
